Season 2016-2017

Liam Beach (Goalkeeper) – Liam is a young goalkeeper who signed in January from Hampton & Richmond Borough and established himself as first choice last season. Age: 18. Debut: 23.01.16 v. Hythe Town.

Sam Bates (Defender) – Sam progressed to Staines Town first team after coming through from their academy. He was out of the game for a lengthy spell through injury before joining Corinthian-Casuals last season. He joined Swans during the summer. Age: 22. Debut: 20.08.16 v. Greenwich Borough.

Alex Filipe (Defender) – After playing for the Suburban League side, Alex has come into the first-team squad this season. He was with Chipstead last season. Age: 20. Debut: 11.10.16 v. Spelthorne Sports.

Corey Haywood-Roye (Defender) – After playing for both Staines Town Academy and Swans’ U-18s last season, Corey made his senior debut in August. Age: 18. Debut: 13.08.16 v. Spelthorne Sports.

Lea Van Sullivan (Defender) – After being at Kingstonian, Walton Casuals, Sheerwater and Banstead Athletic, Lea Van joined Swans in December from Redhill. Age: 22. Debut: 12.01.15 v. South Park.

Jamie Thoroughgood (Defender) – An experienced defender who joined Swans during the summer, Jamie has previously played for Lymington Town, Romsey Town, Bashley, Guildford City, Chipstead, Croydon Athletic and Winchester City. Age: 24. Debut: 06.08.16 v. Westfield.

Olade Yusuf (Defender) – Olade initially joined Swans in October on dual-registration from Hampton & Richmond Borough. He has also played in the Essex Senior League for Takeley FC. Debut: 15.10.16 v. Horley Town.

Howard Newton (Defender/Midfield) – Howard is player/assistant manager at Swans and is a former Guyanese international. He has played for several clubs in a long career including Hamilton Wanderers in New Zealand, and is best known for his time at Staines Town. He joined Swans during the close-season Age: 34. Debut: 06.08.16 v. Westfield.

Louis Taylor (Defender/Midfield) – A former captain of Molesey’s youth team, Louis joined Swans during the summer. Age: 22. Debut: 06.08.16 v. Westfield.

Sebastien Castello (Midfield) – Seb joined Swans in March after being at Egham Town and Ascot United. Age: 20. Debut: 25.03.16 v. Folkestone Invicta.

Cameron Gyeabour (Midfield) – Formerly with Sutton Common Rovers, Cameron joined Swans during the summer. Age: 22. Debut: 13.08.16 v. Spelthorne Sports.

Benoni Kabuiku (Midfield) – Born in The Democratic Republic of Congo, Benoni is a French national who joined Swans in August. He has played professionally in France. Age: 20. Debut: 27.08.16 v. Guildford City.

Billy Marshall (Midfield) – Billy started at Spurs before joining Bristol City three years later. He also spent two years playing in Australia. He has since played for Tooting & Mitcham United, Carshalton Athletic, Chipstead and Walton Casuals. He joined Swans in November. Debut: 05.11.16 v. Knaphill.

Elliott Simpson (Forward-Midfield) – Another new recruit this season, Elliott was previously at Tooting & Mitcham United and Hayes & Yeading United. Age: 21. Debut: 06.08.16 v. Westfield.   

Malachi Thomas (Forward-Midfield) – After being with Raynes Park Vale, Malachi joined Swans in November. He has also been at Bedfont Sports. Age: 22. Debut: 19.11.16 v. Bedfont & Feltham.

Scott Todd (Forward/Midfield) – In over 300 appearances during two spells at Ashford Town (Mx.), Scott scored 102 goals. After first playing for Swans in 2010-11 he rejoined for a second spell in August. His other clubs include Carshalton Athletic, Croydon Athletic, Egham Town, Dorking and Guildford City. Age: 33. Debut: 21.08.10 v. Ramsgate.

Jordan Wisdom-Muir (Forward-Midfield) – A former member of Reading’s Academy, Jordan is a young player who joined Swans over the summer, making his debut on the opening day. Age: 18. Debut: 06.08.16 v. Westfield.   

Victor Asombang (Forward) – Another new recruit this season, Victor has previously played for Didcot Town, Kettering Town, Hampton & Richmond Borough and Staines Town. Age: 35. Debut: 06.08.16 v. Westfield.

Casey Castle (Forward) – An international for his native Bermuda, Casey played college football in the USA for Thomas College, winning the Rookie of the Year medal in 2011. He then played professionally for Bermuda Hogges and IMG Academy Bradenton in the USL Premier Development League. Age: 25. Debut: 27.08.16 v. Guildford City.

Joe Grant (Forward) – As a young player Joe was at Fulham and Chelsea, then playing for Molesey U-18s. He has also been at Canterbury City, and played for Molesey’s first team before joining Swans in November. Age: 23. Debut: 15.11.16 v. Glebe.

Tinashe (TJ) Nkoma (Forward) – TJ has re-signed for Swans after a loan spell from Tooting & Mitcham United last season that was cut short by injury. Age: 21. Debut: 09.01.16 v. Peacehaven & Telscombe.

Jamil Okai (Forward) – After coming through Kingstonian’s Academy, Jamil went on to play for the first team and then Walton Casuals, Sheerwater and Banstead Athletic. He joined Swans last November. Age: 22. Debut: 30.11.15 v. Sutton United.

Matt Rose-Hazel (Forward) – A former Kingstonian youth, Matt joined Swans during the close-season. Age: 22. Debut: 06.08.16 v. Westfield.
