I am delighted to announce we made two new signings on Thursday evening. They are Mu Maan, a classy centre-midfielder from Walton Casuals, and Matt Pooley, a very versatile right-back from Burnham Ramblers. Both will go straight into Saturday’s squad at Burgess Hill. With the festive period about to commence it was important to strengthen the squad, and these two additions will certainly do that. We find ourselves three points outside the play-offs, and the Christmas fixture list we have been handed is as tough as any, but one we are ready for. I have great confidence in our group of lads, and morale in the camp is good. We have trained hard this week, and it is for me to get a reaction after our defeat against Whitstable Town. We hope to see many supporters at Burgess Hill on Saturday and at Hastings on Monday, and we will do everything we can to make it a productive weekend.
See you Saturday
James
Mu Maan - A very talented midfield player, Mu has the lot and will be a pivotal part of our season. Very gifted on the ball and scores his fair share of goals. He is proven at this level and higher. Former clubs include Leatherhead, Metropolitan Police, Dulwich Hamlet, Bognor Regis Town, Merstham and Walton Casuals. Aged 25.
Matt Pooley – I’ve been keen on Matt for ages. He is a hugely talented right back who can also play right- wing. He is naturally very gifted on the ball and has a good football brain. He has played for BraintreeTown in the Conference South and was a YTS at Dagenham and Redbridge. Aged 22.
