Elm Grove Colts FC and Walton and Hersham FC Partnership
We are delighted to announce the football partnership between Elm Grove Colts FC and Walton and Hersham FC.
To celebrate this, on Saturday at our home game vs Maidstone, Elm Grove Colts under 9’s and under 11’s will be in attendance as ball boys and taking part in a penalty shoot out at half time. All Elm Grove Colts players, officials and families are also invited. For all future home games this season all children will gain free entry when accompanied by an adult.
The partnership will bring the two biggest clubs in the area of Elmbridge at their respective levels together to provide football for all players at all levels within the right environment, where every player matters, for over 500 players.
Walton and Hersham FC would like to sincerely thank Marc Gorman (Chairman of Elm Grove Colts FC) and Paul Martyn-Jones in bringing both clubs together.
The partnership is aimed at providing the following player paths -
W&H Saturday 1st Team.
To play at the highest Senior Football level possible
W&H Saturday Reserve Team.
To bridge the gap between Youth Football and Senior Football
To produce loyal / local players with the desire and heart to push Walton and Hersham on to higher levels of football
To produce loyal / local players to Walton and Hersham, who may in the future go onto a higher level of football and earn the club money and reputation.
Elm Grove Saturday Senior Team
To bridge the gap between Youth Football and Senior Football
To produce loyal / local players with the desire and heart to push Elm Grove Seniors on to higher levels of football
W&H Under 18’s Mid Week Youth Team
To provide football for local 16 – 18 year olds with an emphasis to give them an opportunity to progress into the Walton and Hersham and Elm Grove Senior Football Teams.
Future Academy
To provide learning for local players. Players will study the NVQ in Football Coaching Course (equivalent to 2 A-levels) and depending on GCSE grades they will have the option to study additional subjects in the sixth form offer.
To provide local players further coaching opportunities / scholarships
To feed the under 18’s Youth team dedicated players
To provide football coaches to work within the Walton and Hersham in the Community and Junior Schemes.
Elm Grove Colts Sunday Under 17’s and 16’s Youth Teams
To feed the Under 18’s team from players who are at other local colleges or working
Source of FA funding and top of Sunday Youth development
To provide football for local children and part of the Community Scheme

To provide a path for junior players into youth floodlit midweek football
To provide a path for junior players into adult football
To provide a path for junior players into further education in football within academy scheme
To provide a path for junior club coaches to progress into adult football
To help recruitment for players to the junior club
To provide additional fan base for Walton and Hersham Senior Football Team with free entry for all players and coaches to Walton and Hersham home games when accompanied by an adult
