Swans’ reserves are tantalisingly close to being crowned champions of the Suburban League South Division in their first season back in the competition.
They have finished their league campaign and sit top of the table twelve points clear of Cray Valley, who have four games left to play.
The Kent side will need to win all those four matches to pip Martin Grey’s side on goal difference.
Whatever happens over the next few weeks the side will be promoted, having won twelve of their last fourteen league matches, and seven on the spin in a terrific season.
Last Thursday they visited Cray and defeated their nearest challengers 4-1 with a fine performance.
On Saturday they went to Redhill, and goals from young players Michael Hill and Alex Jackson gave them a 2-0 win, but man of the match was Odaine Smith, who was outstanding at centre-back.
