I am absolutely delighted to be appointed First Team Manager at Walton & Hersham FC.
I’m forever in debt to Mr Toby Smith for recommending me to the new consortium for the role and
I believe with the right structure being put in place within the boardroom, the lads can focus and flourish with matters on the pitch.
I intend to create an environment where the players can integrate well together to produce an exceptional, consistent work ethic, where they, our supporters (old and new) and coaching staff can be proud of.
I would like to also take this moment to thank Mr Perry Gough who has always encouraged me to take this role.
Perry has been around the game for a long time and was part of the coachimg staff at the back end of last season. I was able to take on board some points from him, which will definitely go a long way in my development as a young coach.
In saying that, I believe in the influences of many. But as an individual my philosophy and ideology for the team going forward will be of my own doing.
It’s a results business at the end of the day and I will be judged on that.
The aim for the club is for an immediate return to Step 5 and I am confident with the influx of experience and good young players we will achieve our ambitions for the forthcoming season.
I am in the process of completing my coaching staff but I can announce that Alvin Sarmiento will be joining the club as a player/coach.
Alvin was recently playing out in the Philippines Premier Division and has also represented his country.
To all of our supporters, get behind the club, the new consortium, our youth and juniors and lets have a real go!
Thanks again see you soon.
Up the Swans!
